                    Moulin Rouge is a movie starred by Christian, a young poet, who cameto Paris to follow the Bohemian revolution taking hold of a city's drug and prostitute infested underworld . And nowhere is the thrill of the underworld more alive than at the Moulin Rouge, a night club where the rich and poor men alike come o be entertained by the dancers , but things take a wicked turn for Christian as he starts a deadly love affair with the star courtesan of the club, Satine. But her affections are also coveted by the club's patron: the Duke. A dangerous love triangle ensues as Satine and Christian attempt to fight all odds to stay together but a force that not even love can conquer is taking its toll on Satine.

Fantastic Approach in Analyzing "Hotel Transylvania 2"

A short time after the first film, Mavis and her fiance Johnny are married, with the approval of her father Dracula and the world has become aware of (and unfased by) the existence of monsters. Mavis later reveals to Drac that she is pregnant and a year later, she gives birth to a son named Dennis, who befriends Wayne's werewolf pup daughter Winnie. Nearing his fifth birthday, Dennis has yet to grow his fangs and Drac worries that his grandson might not gain vampire powers. Noticing the dangers of Transylvania, Mavis starts to consider raising Dennis where Johnny grew up, much to Drac's disapproval.Drac tells Johnny (who does not want to leave the hotel either) to bring Mavis to California to visit the in-laws, Mike and Linda , but to make sure to keep her distracted so that she won't want to move, leaving Drac to babysit Dennis. Drac enlists his friends, Frank, Wayne the Werewolf, Griffin the Invisible Man , Murray the Mummy and Blobby the Blob to help train Dennis to become a monster, to no avail. Drac takes Dennis to a summer camp where he learned to hone his vampire abilities, only to find that the camp is no longer as dangerous as it was when he went there. Desperate, Drac hurls Dennis from a tall, unstable tower to pressure his transformation into a bat, but rescues him at the last second. The stunt is filmed by the campers and uploaded to the internet, which eventually reaches Mavis and Johnny who decide to hurry back to Transylvania. As there aren't any flights available, Mavis flies straight to Translyvania as a bat carrying Johnny. Drac's pack reaches the hotel a couple of seconds after Mavis, who angrily scolds her father for endangering Dennis and his inability to accept that he is human, promising to move out of the hotel after Dennis’ fifth birthday next Wednesday.Mavis invites Vlad, her grandfather and Drac’s father, to Dennis’ birthday party. As Vlad is much worse than he was when it comes to humans (with Drac saying that he would "steal their souls"), Drac tells Johnny to have the human partygoers disguise themselves as monsters. Vlad receives the invitation and arrives with his monstrous bat-like servant Bela to meet his great-grandson for the first time. Meeting him, he believes that fear will cause Dennis’ fangs to sprout and possesses a stage performer dressed as Dennis's favourite television monster ("Kakie") to scare Dennis, but Drac shields his grandson at the last moment and exposes the deception to Vlad, who is outraged that Drac has accepted humans as guests in his hotel. Drac confronts his father about how humans are different now.Mavis is angered by her grandfather’s behaviour and while the family quarrels, Dennis sadly flees the hotel (followed by Bela) and enters the forest with Winnie in tow, hiding in her treehouse, but they are attacked by Bela. When Bela injures Winnie, Dennis' anger causes him to instantly grow his fangs and his vampire abilities manifest. He begins to fight Bela, who calls his giant-bat minions. Drac, Mavis, Dennis, the rest of the monsters and (some of) Johnny's family team up to defeat his minions. Bela attempts to kill Johnny in revenge with a stake, but Vlad appears with a change of heart where he shrinks his former servant to a harmless size and the Werewolf Kids drive him away.Since Dennis now has vampire abilities, Mavis decides to continue raising her son in Transylvania and the party resumes.

Formalism Approach on the Poem “The Sick Rose” by Willaim Blake

 

To start off, the background for this poem is set in England in 1794, a time when one of the jobs a woman could get was one within prostitution. The overall idea of the poem is the spread of syphilis from a man who had sex with a prostitute then had sex with his wife who happens to be a pregnant. The syphilis is then spread to the child causing severe defects and ultimately death. The Rose is a metaphor for love. A love that is in some way sick and malfunctioning. The invisible worm refers to some type of bacteria or virus, which if looked at under a microscope would look like a worm, and because it is too small, it would be seen as invisible. That invisible worm would be syphilis, which happened to be very common during that time. "That flies in the nigh" means that it is spreading in the night in a howling storm, referring to the howling of pleasure, or sex. This refer to the man fornicating with the prostitute and then his wife. "And dark secret love which thy life destroys" the life destroyed referred in this line is the life of the unborn child that was lost because of the syphilis.

Historical- Bigraphical Approach on "A Child Sorrow" by Zoilo Galang

"A Child of Sorrow" was the first Filipino novel written in English and was first published in 1921. It can be a reflection of Zoilo Galang's personal life. It also symbolize the social and intellectual currents in which Galang composed his novel. The novel omits a phenomenon of wonder, simplicity, beauty, urbanity, language, and history nevertheless it is also a revelation of man's wickedness.
There are many examples of historical and biographical influence on the novel. The years that Zoilo spent in living in the bucolic town of Bacolor, Pampanga add a vivid description of simplicity and mundane lifestyle to the life of the novel’s protagonist, Lucio Soliman. The lifestyle in which Zoilo lives his life clarifies the milieu in which the novel takes place. As Lucio Soliman traverses from the dying Spanish regime to the spring time of Filipinos intellectual prowess in Commonwealth period as well as the mundane provincial life in Fertile Valley and Merry Town, it brings the readers to the time of Zoilo Galang, allowing them to live through his thinking, beliefs, culture, and code of ethics albeit for a short period of time. Additionally, Galang manifests the typical provincial and conservative kind of romantic relationship since during that time Filipinos were traditionalist and old-fashioned.
Also, during the mid-18 to 19thcentury there was a sentimentalist movement in Europe and it greatly affected the literary traditions of all writers in the world and one of them was Galang. In reference to the historical movement of Sentimentalism during the 18th century, this is a European idea that emphasized feelings and emotions, a physical appreciation of God, nature, and other people, rather than logic and reason. The impact on the people was that love became as important in marriage as financial considerations. European sentimentalism arose during the Age of Enlightenment, at the same time as sentimentalism in philosophy which can be found in the story.

Mimetic Analysis of "The Lady and Her Five Suitors"

The story revolves around the Lady where her lover was put into jail. To get her lover get out of the prison, she uses her suitors. All by her beauty,she lured her five suitors obeying her request without noticing that they were being tricked. In the real world we are living, the act of the Lady mimics on how beauty were being used in trickery for getting what she wanted.

Another side of the story mimics the struggles and efforts it take to bear a hand with your loved one. Sometimes you can do things which may be against your will, but you really have to.
